2023 Christmas Party

George County ARES will hold our 2023 Christmas Party on Saturday, December 9, at the Lucedale Public Library, 507 E. Oak Street. We’ll gather in the hospitality room beginning at 9:00 AM.

Our Christmas meeting and lunch is a great opportunity to invite friends and family, hams and non-hams alike, for a morning of fun, food, and fellowship.

If it’s been a while since you’ve attended one of our meetings, or if you’ve never joined us before, consider this a special invitation. We’d really like to see you there.

Food, Fun, and Fellowship

The Christmas Party will take the place of our normal monthly program and will include several interactive activities, including Ham Radio Password.

This year’s meal will be a potluck-style brunch. GC ARES will provide the ham and turkey, and anyone who would like to contribute a side dish, dessert, or other item is welcome to do so.

If you’d like to bring something, please contact General Dailey, KD4VVZ, so we can coordinate the menu. As much as we love apple pie, we probably don’t need 30 of them.

Most importantly, bringing food is completely optional. You don’t need to bring anything to attend. Just bring yourself, your family or friends if you’d like, and come enjoy the morning with us.

Everyone is welcome, and we hope to see you there!
